SCHRANER Switzerland has represented top forging quality for 140 years. Established in 1887, the Swiss company is known for its high level of experience and know-how, making it the absolute leader in the precision forging area. SCHRANER Switzerland has always specialised in the manufacture of complex and precise forged parts weighing a few grams or up to five kg.

1902
RELOCATION
In 1902, the forging business moves from Niederurnen to Bahnhofstrasse in Oberurnen.
1920
Expansion
In 1920, the excellent development of orders requires the company headquarters in Oberurnen to be expanded.
1939
Investments
In 1939, investments are made in six drop-board hammers which are manufactured internally.
1972
New hall
The steel warehouse hall at the company headquarters is built to provide even faster availability and even greater flexibility.
1975
Tool manufacturing
The construction of the in-house tool manufacturing centre ensures precise manufacture and fast tool renewals.
1993
ISO certification
In 1993, Schraner is awarded the first ISO certification – constant certifications guarantee that the highest quality requirements are met.
2002
Modernisation
In order to further safeguard its technology leadership, Schraner invests in a CNC processing centre and expands its production.
2020
SCHRANER Switzerland
Schraner AG is taken over by Bernhard Alpstaeg's BA Holding AG and is renamed SCHRANER Schweiz AG.
